here are some better pictures of the 66 pontiac. the top one in the blog is in the garage where i bought it.

the top picture is me at 18 in my original 52 chevy, and the bottom is me at age 60 in the 52 chevy I have now.

the jacket in the back window is the same jacket. I still have it.

leap year

this is a picture of my 1952 chevy, with me at the wheel at the exact spot where i had a picture taken of me with my original 52 chevy when i was just i8. i was 60 in this picture.

lucky thing this is leap year, and february has 29 days. been so busy i need all of them. mountwood park, bcand g railroad, cars, all that stuff, keeping me busy. but, i am feeling prretty good after the case of crud that i had.

feeling pretty good today.pretty nice weather. gotout again, and think i am pretty much recovered.
car season is rapidly approaching. going to have to put ads out on my 66 pontiac and 75 buick.

valentine's day

february 14, the card company's favorite holiday. bright sunny day, but i am still not feeling well. but, I expect to be up and running very soon. always the optimist.
the election continues to beat our ears, but that is how we become informed.
interesting, I just watched Barack Obama a little more than usual yesterday, and was struck by the similarities of his gestures and speech patterns to hitler. Hitler's speeches were loaded with pauses, and blue sky--just like obama is doing.

car collection

this is part of my collection of 1959 GM flattops. they are all here except the Pontiac. it will be ready in the near future.

not a good day, under the weather today. missed an important meeting because of it. will have to catch up later.
