at the park


just after passing the christian science building, the entrance to the park will be just ahead and on the right as shown here.

These pictures show the turn from 7th street onto park avenue. wendy's is on the right, and 7/11 on the left.


continuing straight ahead on park to the corner of 17th and park brings you to the park entrance. (Only about 2 blocks)

the picture on top with columns is the christian science building. park entrance is just beyond that building.

these pictures show the entrance to city park and the drive through towardss the shelter we will be using. the bottom left picture is the entrance, with the fountain and bandshell in the background. drive in and continue to the left around the circle.as shown in the bottom right picture. top left continues the drive, and the one on the right is just ahead of that spot. the steel building on the left in the top right picture is the horseshoe pitching area for the park.

for those who have never been to parkersburg, i am putting pictures of 7th street on this blog.



when you get off the interstate (I 77) coming into parkersburg, you get onto 7th street heading west. these are some of the scenes you will see as you drive along 7th st.



the park is located at 1920 park ave. and can be located by GPS.

these are scenes that you will see about halfway from the interstate to the park.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

Thee top picture is my tree, after christmas. Presents have been opened, and everyone gone. this is a white pine with the soft needles, which i like. not so apt to punch one's eye out.
The lower picture is at Jerry's house on Christmas morning with Rachel and Isacc opening presents.
